Data Analyst & IoT Specialist
As a Data Analyst & IoT Specialist at Green Gold Group, you will connect sensor networks, industrial equipment, and cloud platforms to generate real-time insights that power predictive maintenance, energy efficiency, and zero-waste operations.
Role Overview
You will serve as the bridge between hardware sensors on farms and processing lines, and the dashboards & analytics used by operators and executives. Your work enables smarter decisions on throughput, energy, uptime, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate IoT sensor networks with cloud and on-premise systems.
- Design and maintain data pipelines from edge devices to analytics dashboards.
- Analyze plant and production data for yield optimization and efficiency gains.
- Develop predictive maintenance models based on machine sensor logs.
- Collaborate with AI developers to embed analytics into real-time feedback loops.
- Ensure data quality, normalization, and security across multiple sources.
Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical/Automation Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus) and industrial data buses.
- Solid knowledge of Python, SQL, and data visualization frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with dashboards (Grafana, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
- Ability to clean, model, and interpret time-series sensor data.
- Familiarity with edge devices, PLCs, or SCADA systems is a big plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, GCP IoT).
- Exposure to machine learning for anomaly detection and predictive analytics.
- Background in energy monitoring, sustainability metrics, or agritech systems.
