Robotics Engineer

As a Robotics Engineer at Green Gold Group, you will design and develop robotics modules for material handling, inspection, and adaptive control within our SmartDecort and SeedOilX lines. Your work will bring automation and intelligence to large-scale industrial hemp processing.

Role Overview

In this role, you will architect, prototype, and deploy robotic systems that optimize throughput and safety across our hemp processing lines. From autonomous guided vehicles to robotic arms and inspection drones, your designs will integrate with AI-driven decision systems to deliver zero-waste, fully automated operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and deploy robotics solutions for material handling and processing.
  • Develop adaptive control algorithms integrated with AI modules.
  • Implement computer vision for object detection, inspection, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and AI engineers to optimize SmartDecort & SeedOilX lines.
  • Prototype and scale robotics hardware for industrial environments.
  • Ensure safety, reliability, and compliance of robotic systems.

Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of motion control, actuators, and robotics kinematics.
  • Proficiency in C++/Python for robotics applications.
  • Experience with vision-based navigation and real-time control loops.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset for industrial automation challenges.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) or AGVs.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation standards and safety certifications.
  • Background in agricultural robotics or manufacturing automation.
