Agritech Engineer

Join Green Gold Group as an Agritech Engineer to design, test, and optimize agricultural systems and hardware that interface with AI modules and industrial processing lines. Your work enables full-plant utilization, reliable yields, and scalable, regenerative production across our platform.

Role Overview

You’ll work at the intersection of mechanical design, agronomy, and embedded/IoT systems: building reliable field hardware, sensors, and control systems that feed data into our AI stack and prepare biomass for downstream modules like SmartDecort, FiberOpti AI, and SeedOilX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and validate field machinery for planting, cutting, conditioning, and handling.
  • Integrate sensors (moisture, temp, load, optical) and edge controllers for closed-loop control.
  • Develop harvest/conditioning specs (moisture, fiber length, cleanliness) for processing lines.
  • Prototype test rigs; run lab/field trials and iterate based on data and failure analysis.
  • Collaborate with AI/Robotics teams to enable real-time monitoring, feedback, and optimization.
  • Create BOMs, assembly docs, maintenance procedures, and safety/CE compliance checklists.
  • Work with suppliers and farmers to pilot, scale, and maintain deployed systems.

Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Agricultural Engineering or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with ag machines or industrial equipment (design, fabrication, testing).
  • Solid CAD (e.g., SolidWorks/Fusion/Inventor) and DFM/DFA; familiarity with FEA is a plus.
  • Sensor integration & controls (PLC/embedded, CAN/MQTT, basic wiring, safety circuits).
  • Comfort with field trials, instrumentation, data logging, and test reporting.
  • Bonus: pneumatics, conveyors, drives; bio-materials handling; EU compliance (CE/ISO).
  • Mindset: practical, iterative, safety-first, and excited about regenerative agriculture.
