Turning Land into Long-Term Value
At Green Gold Group, land is more than a resource — it’s a living asset. Our approach transforms underutilized or degraded acreage into thriving, productive ecosystems that generate measurable ecological and financial returns.
Through regenerative cultivation of industrial hemp, we restore biodiversity, enhance soil structure, increase water retention, and enable farmers and landowners to tap into the booming bio-based economy. Each hectare becomes part of a scalable supply chain that feeds into our zero-waste processing platform, unlocking value from every part of the plant.
Land Portfolio & Business Model
Hempex secures and activates farmland — the core productive asset — through a diversified acquisition strategy.
By 2030, our land portfolio will include 5,000 hectares across Central and Southeastern Europe:
• 50% owned land
• 25% leased land
• 25% via Hempex Partners Direct.
1. Land Ownership
Direct purchase of farmland in target regions (Croatia, BiH, Serbia, N. Macedonia, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia). Acquisition costs range from €1–30 per hectare depending on location and water access.
- Operating costs: €2,500–7,000/ha
- Annual revenue: €15,000–250,000/ha
- 1st year includes land purchase cost
2. Land Leasing
Hempex leases farmland and deploys regenerative cultivation, minimizing upfront capital expenditure.
- Operating costs: €2,500–7,000/ha
- Annual land rent: €250–1,500/ha
- Yields and revenues consistent with owned land
3. Hempex Partners Direct
Contract farming model with local farmers (5–30 year agreements). Hempex provides technology, monitoring, and guaranteed payments.
- Farmer payments: €2,500–7,500 annually
- Yields: 7–25 tonnes/ha
- AI-driven agritech app tracks seeding, irrigation, fertilization & harvest
Land pricing reflects location, water availability, and soil quality. Plots with direct water access command higher prices, while remote plots are more affordable — balancing portfolio risk and yield potential.
Regenerative Agriculture
Industrial hemp is a natural soil restorer. Its deep roots break up compaction, while its dense canopy suppresses weeds without chemical inputs. Each growth cycle captures significant amounts of CO₂ and returns organic matter to the soil, supporting long-term fertility.
Multi-Year Productivity
Our cultivation plans integrate rotational cropping, precision soil monitoring, and adaptive irrigation to ensure yields remain high year after year. This approach prevents depletion and maintains consistent quality of raw materials for downstream processing.
Secure, Scalable Supply
A network of strategically located regenerative land assets guarantees stable feedstock availability. This secures supply for multiple industries — from construction to nutrition — while minimizing transportation costs and emissions.
Measured Impact
Every hectare under our management is monitored and measured to ensure both environmental and financial performance. Our data-driven approach provides transparent metrics for investors, partners, and landowners.
- 10+ tonnes of CO₂ captured per hectare annually
- Up to 20% increase in soil organic matter within 3 years
- Biodiversity gains in pollinators, beneficial insects, and soil microbiology
- Profitable yields across all 8 plant value streams
- Reduced chemical inputs through natural pest and weed suppression
